Potty training tips, tricks and tools
Potty training is probably one of the toughest parenting challenges you'll go through. It's touted as a battle of will and strength, but it doesn't need to be. You can potty train your toddler using these simple potty training tips.
Potty Training Items You'll Need
Before you start potty training, you'll need:
- Potty training pants. These can be cloth or disposable, depending on your preference.
- Potty training seat. You can choose to get a potty, which sits on the floor, or one that fits on your toilet.
- An incentive. Many children respond well to potty training charts, candies or other small toys to get them excited about using the potty.
- A teaching tool. You may choose to use a potty training video or potty training doll in order to show your child what to do.
